Hi Alex, (re Jane Jones)
I didn't find any urgent findings on this case that you hadn't already treatment planned. But do you think the patient may be interested in the following?
💡 Endodontically Treated Teeth / Endodontically treated posterior tooth without full coverage crown restoration - Tooth 16
Case study: Lack of evidence-basis for treatment
Hi Ravi, (Re Jim Jones)
I couldn’t find supporting evidence for your treatment plan. Often it’s a tooth number error or mismatched data where the wrong images or treatment plan may have been imported to the patients file.
Could you please query the following item for me?
🔴 551 - 18, 28 (Could you please reassess these item codes)
Case study: Lack of evidence-basis for treatment
A patient with health insurance attended a routine checkup. The dentist planned routine treatment but inadvertently entered the incorrect item codes in to their practice software.
Colleague reviewed the treatment plan and patient images and sent the following message to the dentist within 24 hours:
Practice outcome: Incorrect codes were amended reducing audit risk.
Practice outcome: Consistent care supported by the latest research.
